Doar Rieck Kaley & Mack represent clients in environmental enforcement matters, litigation and other types of dispute resolution, and investigations.

In the enforcement area, we help clients resolve compliance concerns raised by federal and state regulatory agencies. Our disputes practice involves representing clients in consent decree negotiations, and handling lawsuits raising cost-recovery, contribution, and natural resource damage claims under the Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA); citizen-suit, toxic tort, and spill-related claims; and challenges to environmental impact statements and assessments. We also represent corporate and individual clients in investigations and prosecutions of alleged criminal violations of the environmental laws.

Our environmental practice is headed by the former chief of the Environmental Protection Unit of the U.S. Attorney's Office for the Southern District of New York.
